展覽訊息 :: Exhibition News

去年的碩士作品，將在位於英國倫敦 Business Design Centre的New Designers 2011展覽中，與愛丁堡藝術學院(Edinburgh College of Art)一同展出。這個展覽跟台灣的新一代設計展有點像，許多英國境內的大學院校和設計學院，都會選擇在此展出。當然同時還有許多不同的英國設計展和其他類別的設計展，也會有很多其他學校選擇在不一樣的展覽中出現，如果對英國設計展有興趣的人，這個時間造訪英國可以得到很多不同的收穫。

展覽時間 Time：2011年6月29日～7月2日　Part 1
展覽位置 Position：愛丁堡藝術學院展區　J16

My postgraduate work will be shown at the New Designers 2011 with Edinburgh College of Art from 29 June to 02 July 2011 at Business Design Centre in London. This exhibition is very similar to Young Designers' Exhibition in Taiwan. Many universities and colleges will join this exhibition and show the works of graduates. In the meanwhile, many design exhibitions are held in London as well. This is great time to see all new designs and products in London.

訂製珠寶 :: Custom Jewellery

這兩個月以來，為一位可愛的客戶完成了兩件訂製珠寶～

作品都以客戶所愛的Yuki為主題，分別製成純銀愛心手鍊與愛心相片墜（追憶墜結構）。兩件雖為不同時間製作設計，卻都深富紀念價值，並刻上了值得紀念的日期。完成的瞬間真的十分讓MARU感動！而成套的設計更能展現訂製珠寶的特別之處。

訂製珠寶與一般珠寶的不同處，除了從零開始手工製作以外，最大的不同就是它所具有的獨特個性；融合了客戶與設計師的想法、被客戶賦予的期望和意義，以及獨一無二的造型。經由量身訂做，珠寶不再只是一個裝飾品，它的價值也不是可以用金錢計算的出來的。相信這兩件作品都可以傳達出，主人對Yuki滿滿的愛與思念。

I have made two custom jewellery for a lovely customer in these two months. They are a bracelet and a necklace which contain the memories of her dog - Yuki, who is in Heaven now. They are made in May and June separately, and marked two special dates for her specific occasion - one is her birthday. They also can be a set. I am really proud of these two pieces because they are finished very nicely and neatly.

It is always irreplaceable having a custom jewellery which is created only for you from the beginning to the end. It not only contains the ideas of customer and designer, also the meaning and expectation of customer. It is so unique. It can not be counted by cost. It means more!

What I found in these jewellery is customer's yearning and love.

這些都是去年MARU剛回台灣時，在參加簡單生活節時發表的新品，隔了相當久才放上來，真是不好意思><～當天還有一些隱藏版的新品，但是都是限量的，所以賣完就沒有囉～僅不定期在市集出現，歡迎大家趁Miss Maru©有參加市集的時候來挖寶喔～

不對稱的耳環造型，加上圓形銀珠裝飾，是我在國外唸書時為自己開發的款式，不但方便於天天配戴，也相當的與眾不同！

以十顆中間有凹槽染黑處理，不同樣式的碗豆組合而成，一個近看有細緻度，遠看相當秀氣的一個戒指。多只一起配戴，則會提高份量感和粗獷感，是一個富有多重風格和變化的作品。

垂吊部份由天然貝殼翻造，搭配天然珍珠製作而成的作品，除了可當戒指兩面配戴，也可加鍊成為墜子，多樣式配戴。

★限量玻璃愛心劍墜-限量一件（已賣出)
從2007接觸到玻璃鑄造後，就一直很想將玻璃材質加到作品中。這是第一次嘗試將手工鑄造的愛心琉璃，和雕刻寶劍造型結合的作品。很高興可以將兩個最愛，但非常有衝突的材質搭配在一起，呈現出獨特且融合效果。

These jewelleries are the pieces I made for attending for the street market of Simple Life last year. Most of them are with clean and simple style for wearing in daily life, for examples, Cat ear ring and Wave bracelet. I also put a new material in my jewellery - glass, which I love so much, in Glass heart and silver sword pendant. There are also some limited edition only show in market. I am very glad most of them are already be bought by my sweet customers. In the future, there will be more limited and mixed material items which will exhibit in the street market and my collection.

2010簡單生活節 Urban Simple Life 2010

今年的簡單生活節順利的結束囉～很高興遇到了兩年不見的老朋友+老顧客Ruby，還有一樣是在愛丁堡唸書的學姐，以及很多喜歡Miss Maru©的朋友們！而老天爺也很給面子的給了我十足的好天氣，陽光普照之外還非常的溫暖，有種夏天的錯覺～

MARU也因為這次機會深深地瞭解到，自己還有很長的一段路要走，還需要更努力的研發跟思考未來。雖然不知道兩年後會如何，但期許自己可以找到那個黑暗中的門，用自己的鑰匙打開它。

畢展延伸I : Degree Show Development I

Day 1

我的畢業展已經在上上個週末（8月29日）順利結束了，很開心展覽期間得到很多人的讚美跟鼓勵，還有加油的字句。這次的畢業展有別於一般展覽僅僅將珠寶作品做展示，而加入了許多互動與換新的元素在展場裡面，讓大家可以藉由不同的體驗，來增加對主題和作品的認識。

第一個經由畢展延伸的部份，就是服裝造型的創造。展場中放的三個人體模型，每天藉由上面的"不變"的三件舊衣，與"不變"的珠寶，創造出"多變"的造型，讓大家認識如何經由我的作品塑造出一件衣服的多種樣貌。衣服分別是（由左至右）：奶油色的真絲的洋裝，長針織衫和化纖洋裝。我的作品針對不同布料材質的考量，讓服裝的造型在改變的同時，仍能以不傷衣料的方式，增加呈現的樣式。而每天創造不同造型的同時，我也得到了相當多的樂趣，有的衣服甚至能用一種珠寶變化出十種以上的樣貌！

展期的九天中，我都親自到場改變衣服的樣子，雖然不見得有人會連續兩天來參觀，但是這個過程已經變成我的專題的一個部份，希望未來有機會繼續做更多的延伸。

九天展期改變的造型如圖所示：

My degree show was ended last Sunday, 29th August. It not only displayed my jewellery I created but also the transitions of the garments' changes. It is the first development of my project. The photographs which were taken of people are the other evidence of my development.

The first part is how I can create other new looks from one garment at space. There are three pieces of the garment, including one silk dress, one long cardigan and one polyester dress. I put different series of jewellery on them and used them to alter the forms of garments every day. Each piece of jewellery are designed for a certain kind of textile, like 'YES Band' and 'HATE Band' are suitable for those garments which are not allowed to be pinned, such as silk and chiffon. These changes show the possibilities of my jewellery and the garments, like the posters displayed on the glass wall. I also have explored more methods to alter a garment through one piece during this time and it really gave me a lot of fun.
