每件珠寶作品，都是由許多的零配件所組成；可能是一個扣圈，一個墜頭，或是鍊子和鑲座。每個零件都需要先由工具鋸切、磨削、清洗等步驟，再透過焊接，將每個零件組合起來。

組合之後，也必須再經過清洗與拋修的程序，將金屬拋光、拋亮，或是進一步硫化染黑、鑲嵌等處理，才能算是完成一件珠寶。

就像所有的工藝一樣，珠寶工藝的每一個步驟都是需要按部就班，每一個零件都需仔細處理，才能在接下來的程序中順利銜接，直到完成。

中間的必要過程一但省略或偷懶，都會讓作品更難以製作，或是完成後有明顯的瑕疵跟無法挽救的缺陷。常常只有重做，才能符合自己接近完美主義的標準。

但也因為每個零件都是手工製作，都具有不同的差異；包括修整的手勢、焊接的位置、拋修的程度、和當下製作的心情等等，即使是相同的作品，也能觀察到些微不同的地方。這也是為何從手工製作的作品中，可以感受到作者的溫度和心意。

常覺得製作珠寶就跟走人生道路一樣，都需要腳踏實地、認真靜心，既不能偷懶，也沒有捷徑。

關於瘋狂幾何 :: 小石子系列 About Geometric Geometry Collection

三年多來的疫情，除了讓我重新思考人生的意義，也重新思考自己與作品的關係。 

如何歸零，享受當下，和重拾創作的樂趣，都是這三年給自己的課題。 試著用更多的時間、更多的手工痕跡，來製作、並代表每一件獨一無二的珠寶作品，似乎比大量生產及以重複的動作產出的作品，更加吸引自己。 

而自2021年開始發展的【瘋狂幾何-小石子系列】，就是這個想法延伸。

小石子的每一個切面都是利用銼刀削挫而成，除了代表了自己當下的選擇，也代表小石子不想被磨化的頑強稜角。 

將自己曾經試圖變圓潤的個性，但其實內心並不想被改變的體悟，變成一個個的平面，和面與面之間的稜線。 

被擬人化的每個小石子，都是獨一，也是無二。 就和你我一樣，有稜有角，無須改變。

雖然現在大部分的珠寶都能用電腦和機器大量與快速的製作，但自己對於無法取代的純手工價值，還是有著瘋狂的堅持，難以改變。

當然，這是以更多的製作時間與生產成本交換而來的。

最近都在忙著新作品的製作，所以潛伏了一段時間。尤其當作品是需要經由嘗試與實驗才能完成的時候，真的需要投注時間跟心力在上面。我總是希望自己的作品，對我已足夠完美，到足以交代自己的內心的時候，再拿到顧客與消費者眼前的。他們不只是一件作品，而是可以代表一個想法或是嘗試的成就。

所以，我已經不會去追求，在某個時間或日子，應該做出某樣東西的想法，那並不能讓我做出對於我來說完美的事物。我的作品和藝術一樣，都應該生在對的時間與地點，不同的是需要經由縝密的設計來生產。

我認為，在對的事上必須努力堅持，雖然對的事都是最難去做到的；而對於作品，我希望用一種中庸的作法完成，太過與不及都不是好事。


品牌的概念是「零存整取」，最後整個品牌價值是整個取出來，零存是你每天的工作往對的方向走，存的時候不費力。 －施振榮先生說



I have been working on my new pieces for a while. Sometimes, a new inspiration needs new experiments to complete. It really takes time and energy. I wish my design would be perfect enough for me to present. It is not only a piece of work, but also an achievement of an idea and an attempt. Therefore, I won't push me to create something on time or date. Arts or my creations should come out at the right time and right place. I really think less is more and "Golden Mean" is important!

豆莢耳環 :: 金工鍛敲作品 / Forged Earring

一直都很喜歡各式各樣大自然與植物的樣貌，所以會應用到作品裡，而豆莢耳環就是其中一個。之前設計珠寶時，手上常常有豆莢的雕刻玉件需要設計，那時就非常想要一個玻璃種的，因為既可愛又美麗～想說自己現在既然買不起，就用銀作一個自己帶吧！

而我用鍛敲方式製作的豆莢耳環，除了因為大小與造型非常有存在感，特別將豆莢頭部的部分，改的與植物原本樣貌不同，用比較長跟尖的形狀獨立在上方，中間修細，甚至有點像"頭"的樣子去作，讓它有了上下半身的感覺。這樣的目的是將整體做出延伸感，在修飾跟襯托臉型上，有更好的效果。

我想任何需要有畫龍點睛般醒目效果的場合，豆莢耳環一定是配件的不二人選！

老東西與Miss Maru熱賣中～

I always love all kinds of plants shapes and put into my works, 'Pod Earring' is one of them. I've designed many jewlery of pod-shape jade sculptures from customers, jade is really beautiful but expencive. I always want a pair of it very much. In fact, I couldn't afford it yet. So, I made a silver one!

'Pod Earring' is forged, and I change the original plant shape a little bit. The top part of pod is a little separate from bottom, just like a 'head'. The reason why I made it is to extend entire shape, and try to prettify the round-face.

The result was really good, It can be worn in any occasions.

'Pod Earring' is now selling at Old Stuff and Yahoo Bid Shop.

閃電戒 :: 金工作品 / Lightning Ring

這是我的第一件獨立設計與製作的戒指，當我已經對金工製作有了初步的概念與能力了之後，很多想法都可以藉由金工技法完成，而我一直想要一個有造型又可以天天配戴的戒指，於是閃電戒誕生了。

與一般戒指不一樣的地方是，這隻戒指一體成形，所有圖案都是連貫的，所以可以任意的轉動也不失造型。不管配Ｔ恤或是龐克風格的服飾，都適合到一個不行！

'Lightning Ring' is my first original product of silversmithing. I made it when I realize and know the silversmithing well. I always wanna a ring practical and suitable for everyday-wear. That's why I created 'Lightning Ring' with my own style.

'Lightning Ring' is a little different from other rings. The shape is a loop which can be shown by any angle. It's all suitable for T-shirt and punk style.

'Lightning Ring' is selling at Old Stuff and Yahoo Bid Shop.

Untitled :: 金工鍛敲作品 / Forged Pendant

這是金工課學習圓球的作品。那時候老師是示範基本的圓球作法給大家看，但自己練習時總希望可以在基本之外，同時做出自己的設計跟比較進階或不同的作法。所以我設計了由許多愛心拼成的正面圖案，整個大面積敲半圓之後，後面再加上半圓的縷空圓球。

不過同樣的，草圖老師看過之後，建議我把每個愛心都敲凸，這樣會很有立體感也很好看。我想說雖然感覺是個高難度的作法，但試試看也沒關係，大不了就是重作，但我可以學到很多經驗！

雖然當時是這樣想著，但是光是鋸出愛心的圖案對初學者就是一件很大的工程，再加上鍛敲每一個愛心的部分，更是不容易。先把愛心圖案鋸好（已經有點變形...），在每個愛心根據愛心凹凸面與延展方向敲凸，這時候接點太細的部分就真的讓人心驚膽戰了，必須相當的小心。最後再將大體修成半圓，焊上背面的半圓與墜頭之後，終於大功告成。

雖然完成之後還有很多缺點，但整個竟然另有一種樣貌，好像一個臉，也好像舞獅的臉，非常有喜感。也許再作一次可以作得相當完美，但我想保留這個獨一無二的作品，因為珠寶作的有喜感，還真的是一個很有趣的境界。重點是我很愛，這樣就夠了！

It's my 'Ball' assignment of silversmithing class. Teacher Lin demonstrated us how to make a basic silver ball as a pendant. Then, I designed the look which is more complicated and advanced then the basic one that I'd like to do. The front side is associated with many heart shapes, and the back side is a semicircle.

After Teacher Lin saw my sketch, he suggested that I should forge each heart shape to stand out the whole shape. I thought it's not easy to make, but I love to accept any kinds of challenge. The worst situation is just to make a new one again.

In fact, it's a big deal for a novice. It's alreay a little difficult to saw the heart pattern shapes. I also needed to forge very carefully in case the broken of thin connection. At last, I soldered another semicircle and top. It was done finally.

Even there are still many defects of this work. The heart shapes aren't clear. The look of it is alike face..lion dance face. I still consider that it's a good work with funny impression. It's rare to make jewelry with fun. After all, I like it, nothing is important than it.

Potato :: 金工鍛敲墜作品 / Forged Pendant

這是我的第二件金工作品－以金工鍛敲技法完成的銀墜，因為外型被大家聯想成馬鈴薯，所以就叫馬鈴薯墜了。

一開始的想法是希望在銀片上做出高低不同的凹凸，來表現心情起伏的感覺，老師看到草圖後就建議我以金工鍛敲來製作。以前從來沒有接觸過金工鍛敲技法，而第一次的學習跟製作對我來說都非常有趣。

首先將銀片鋸出橢圓形，再固定到松脂膏（老師的特殊配方，外面有的用瀝青）上，再用圓樁頭敲出凹凸，中間反覆的退火...敲擊...退火，最後再做大體的整型之後，便完成了我的馬鈴薯墜了！

表面因為不想做成亮面，搶走本身造型的風采，就手工用砂紙將表面處理成霧面，最後配上我愛的長鍊，就變成萬搭款的個性銀墜。

我也因為接觸到鍛敲技法而愛上鍛敲，那種經由自己的手，將金屬塑造改變的過程，似乎代表著力量與精神的賦予。就如古代重要的工匠一般，把自己一身的心力投注在作品裡，將自己與作品合而為一。所有的過程都如同一次一次的省思與進步，只為了成就出絕代藝品，讓自己與作品名流千古。

這是一項深奧而複雜的技法，我會繼續鑽研下去，把它應用在作品裡。

This is my second silversmithing work-forged pendant. It is called "Potato" because of it shape.

My first idea is to create a lumpy surface to effect my moody situation. After looking at my sketch, Teacher Lin suggested me to use the forging skill to make work. I never learned about forging, it's a new experience of learning.

At first, I sawed an oval silver plate and put it on the surface of heated pitch. Then I punched it to become a shape that I liked. I need to keep annealing during the forging process. After all repousse process, I finished my work.

At last, I used emery paper to make the rough surface. Incase the light of polished surface will be more conspicuous than shape. I collocate it with a long chains I loved. It became a very stylish pendant in the end.

I love forging the way can add the strength and spirit of maker. Like the smith of ancient periods who spent all their life time to make an artware with their soul. The process of making is not only to develop the skill but also to create an artware which will last through all ages.

I will keep learning this skill and put it into my works.

我的第一件金工作品，就在2007年的9月誕生了。

素白的銀片上鋸出了枝葉，手工拋光之後染黑處理，表面再拋亮，就成了層次分明的明暗面。

從沒有想過可以如此快速的完成一件金工作品，我想都要歸功於蠟雕的基礎和在工廠工作的種種學習，才能於兩天的時間，就完成這個作品。

從融銀－壓片－鋸形－敲圓－焊接，每一個步驟都是一個新的學習與體驗，而完成瞬間的成就，更是無法言喻。

那一刻，我想我是可以做金工的，而我也喜歡做金工。

I made my first silversmithing in Sep 2007.

I sawed the leaf shape on my sterling silver which was fused and bent myself. Then I oxidize the all surface, but planish the font. That's why it can shows two gradations.

I never thought that I can make my work in such a short time. It's must accredit to my foundation of wax carving and what I learned in present work.

Fuse, anneal, saw, bend, solder..every process is a whole new experience for me. And when I done my work, I really feel I did my achievement.

In the moment, I fell in love with the silversmithing.
